Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a large retail and digital platform organization, working within an established team responsible for the development and governance of a strategic enterprise design system.
What You Will Work On
- Develop, maintain, and evolve enterprise design system components
- Create and manage design tokens, typography systems, spacing frameworks, and reusable design patterns
- Support the consolidation of multiple design systems into a unified platform
- Define design architecture, naming conventions, token structures, and governance principles
- Ensure the design system supports complex internal business applications and platforms
- Collaborate closely with developers to bridge design and implementation
- Improve design-development workflows through modern tooling and best practices
- Utilize AI-powered tools as part of daily design and product development activities
- Establish and maintain versioning strategies for design assets and components
- Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and governance frameworks
- Support product teams adopting and contributing to the design system
- Drive continuous improvements in scalability, usability, and consistency across digital products
What You Bring
- Several years of experience building and maintaining design systems used across multiple teams or organizations
- Advanced expertise in Figma component architecture and design system management
- Strong experience with Variables, Modes, Properties, Slots, and Auto Layout
- Deep understanding of design tokens, theming strategies, semantic layers, and design architecture
- Strong technical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with developers
- Experience discussing implementation details and technical implications of design decisions
- Proven experience using AI-powered tools within design and product development workflows
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic design decisions with practical implementation needs
- Fluent Swedish and professional communication skills
- Availability for hybrid work with regular presence in the Stockholm area
