Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Vehicle Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Provide hands-on support to vehicle projects and test rigs within the physical project build process, ensuring effective testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
- Perform software downloading, programming, and parameter configuration for ECUs across various vehicle platforms.
- Conduct fault tracing and root-cause analysis in lab, rig, and truck environments to resolve complex electrical and electronic issues.
- Support early-phase EE (Electrical & Electronics) engineering activities and contribute to the development and validation of distributed electrical systems.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to secure high-quality vehicle builds and system integration.
- Work across multiple facilities, both in-office and in workshops, with occasional travel to dealers and end-user sites.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of diagnostic, software, and support processes within EE Implementation.
What you bring:
- Minimum 8 years of experience working with vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and complete vehicle systems.
- Proven experience in software download, ECU programming, and parameter setup.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in vehicle or rig environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Structured, organized approach with flexibility to handle a broad range of technical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with product development processes is a merit.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and engineering tools such as CANalyzer, KOLA, Protus, PROTOM, Configurator, SE-Tool, and ClearQuest is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
