Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Service Application Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Define technical scopes for overhauls, repairs, and spare parts requirements
- Collaborate with Sales Manager to prepare technical proposals and scope details
- Recommend service bulletins, modifications, and improvements to enhance performance, availability, and reliability
- Define site activities, tooling, instruments, spare parts, and consumables needed for overhauls
- Support modernization and upgrade projects, including scoping for sales and execution phases
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by proposing tailored technical solutions
- Lead execution of maintenance projects as technical lead, collaborating with project managers and site teams
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution and maintain technical support throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to preparation of Long-Term Program (LTP) contracts by providing technical feedback and turbine scope details
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields)
- Technical experience with gas turbines or other rotating equipment (Siemens turbines experience is a plus)
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
- Ability to coordinate technical discussions, lead meetings, and present scopes to clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in IT systems and tools related to engineering and maintenance
- Fluent in English
- Experience with medium-sized gas turbine maintenance is meritorious
- Experience in service business environments is a plus
- Knowledge of rotary equipment maintenance is advantageous
