Assignment Description
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
What You Will Work On
- Lead supplier development and improvement projects
- Manage supplier deviations using containment, RCA, and corrective/preventive actions
- Conduct and support supplier audits and compliance assessments
- Qualify suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Perform product and process qualification (PPQ) activities
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvement actions
- Conduct structured root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA)
- Drive risk mitigation and preventive quality measures
- Collaborate with global engineering, procurement, and quality teams
- Support suppliers in implementing quality management systems and tools
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct initial assessments
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing requirements
- Follow up on corrective actions and verify effectiveness
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supplier processes
- Participate in cross-functional quality and production development projects
What You Bring
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in relevant field
- Experience in manufacturing environments such as machining, casting, forging, welding, or coating (preferred)
- Background in production engineering or R&D (strong advantage)
- Experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or production quality roles
- Strong knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, and process control
- Experience in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring
- Understanding of commercial and technical supplier relationships
- Project management experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize effectively
- Structured and results-oriented working style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English; Swedish is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as part of the role
