Assignment Overview
We are looking for an Inventory Planning & Control Specialist
What You Will Work On
- Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, and production and sales forecasts.
- Develop and maintain key inputs to the inventory system including network changes, lead times, cost structures, delivery expectations, promotional activities, and new product introductions.
- Establish and implement a structured planning methodology covering short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons.
- Drive the stabilization and organizational adoption of the planning methodology.
- Develop buffer strategies, sequencing logic, and clear governance for planning decisions.
- Plan and control inventory levels of finished goods across warehouses, distribution centers, and production sites.
- Ensure inventory availability meets sales and distribution requirements.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, production planning, and warehouse teams.
- Support routing, scheduling, and storage strategies to improve supply chain performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher within Supply Chain Management, Production, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive experience working within supply chain planning or inventory management in industrial environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into planning strategies.
- Advanced presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and WMS systems.
- Experience implementing planning processes or supply chain methodologies.
- Coaching mindset with the ability to guide teams and influence organizations.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Structured, proactive, and capable of working independently in complex operational environments.
