Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Overseeing the design, requirements, interfaces, and quality assurance of embedded systems.
- Prioritizing and planning embedded system deliveries in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Driving scope, time, and budget estimations to support project planning.
- Leading development work across different functions and teams.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of technical roadmaps for various product areas.
- Establishing and refining workflows, methods, and tools for embedded system development.
- Ensuring the quality and readiness of system components before release.
- Implementing system architecture strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Leading investigations into new concepts and driving their approval through decision-making forums.
- Participating in specification implementation and verification loops to secure system aspects.
- Supporting product managers in defining and breaking down capabilities and enablers into actionable features.
What You Bring:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of application software development, hardware development, integration, and verification.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, including scope, time, and budget management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Develop Product (DP) and Develop Embedded Solution processes.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, essential for both internal and external stakeholder management.
- Ability to drive work from an operational and short-term perspective, ensuring integration and quality readiness.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in System Design Engineering, with a proven track record as a project lead, coach, and mentor.
- Deep expertise in a specific discipline or a mature generalist toolbox.
- Ability to clearly articulate value creation and connect work to the broader technical and business strategy.
