Tooling Engineer (Requirements) - 17566

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Requirements Tooling Engineer to support the development and optimization of requirements processes and tooling within a systems engineering environment.

What You Will Work On

Break down and structure system and software requirements
Define and maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and verification
Set up, configure, and improve requirements management tools
Develop Python scripts and automation to support requirements workflows and validation
Ensure consistency across system configurations, properties, and parameters
Act as the technical owner of the requirements framework and structure
Collaborate with development and test teams throughout the V-model lifecycle
Improve processes related to requirements engineering and tooling

What You Bring

5–10 years of experience in requirements engineering or similar roles
Strong hands-on experience with requirements decomposition and specification
Experience with traceability and structured requirements frameworks
Proven experience setting up or improving requirements management tools
Strong Python and scripting skills for automation and validation
System-level understanding of configuration, consistency, and structure
Good understanding of how requirements are implemented and tested
Comfortable working directly within tools (hands-on contributor)
