What you will work on:
- Ensure material availability and on-time delivery from suppliers to the Västerås factory by proactively managing risks and resolving demand and supply deviations
- Provide supply capacity visibility and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process
- Manage and develop inventory strategies to optimize the balance between availability, flexibility, and turnover
- Secure compliance with customs regulations for imports and exports, including operational transport supplier management
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, planning processes, and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead approximately 11 direct reports in Sweden and act as second line manager for a team in Estonia
What you bring:
- Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related fields, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong results orientation, analytical mindset, and action-driven approach combined with excellent communication skills
- Passion for managing global business relationships and conducting negotiations in an international context
- Proficiency in Excel (or similar tools) and working knowledge of SAP
- University degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, economics, or quality is preferred
- Professional communication skills in Swedish and English
- Prior management experience is a strong advantage
