Contribute to the development of new aerospace engine products and the maintenance of existing ones, collaborating closely with research, production, and customers.
Represent the solid mechanics capability within one or more multi-disciplinary product teams, supporting both product development and production activities.
Perform advanced solid mechanics simulations, including fatigue life, strength, and stability analyses for engine components under various loading conditions.
Conduct structural assessments and provide analytical justification for components that deviate from intended design specifications.
Lead or contribute to method development and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at standardizing, automating, and enhancing analysis workflows.
Ensure solid mechanics analyses meet quality, cost, and time objectives while maintaining strong engineering rigor.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of product history, legacy methods, and past actions to inform current and future design work.
Document and communicate technical results clearly and effectively to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Continuously seek opportunities to optimize analytical processes, improve efficiency, and elevate technical standards within the engineering community.
What you bring:
Master’s degree in Applied Mechanics or a closely related discipline.
Strong foundation in solid mechanics and material science, with proven ability to address challenges related to structural integrity, material properties, and performance.
Expertise in advanced finite element analysis using ANSYS, with experience handling complex structural and scripting challenges.
Proficiency in digital data management of simulations, ensuring traceability and consistency of analysis results.
Ability to navigate seamlessly between detailed analytical work and the broader system-level understanding of products.
Demonstrated capability to plan, organize, and execute tasks with clarity, setting achievable milestones and adapting to project needs.
