We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Develop and drive the test automation acceleration program within the Fuel & Environment product area under the guidance of the E2E Test Manager.
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks to replace and enhance manual testing, including exploratory and integration tests.
Lead and support continuous quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring robust and scalable testing processes.
Collaborate closely with testers, UX designers, scrum masters, product managers, and developers to secure high-quality deliveries for connected digital platforms.
Conduct detailed investigations using tools such as logs, integrations, and browser DevTools to identify and resolve issues.
Set up, monitor, and continuously improve service monitoring and quality metrics.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and promote best practices in agile testing and automation within the team.
Share knowledge and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality excellence.
What you bring:
Minimum 5 years of experience in system testing, QA, or similar roles.
Proven understanding of agile principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience working in agile teams.
Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Expertise in developing custom automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework) tailored to project requirements.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, TypeScript, or Python.
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia, and good understanding of microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Solid knowledge of the Software Test Life Cycle and hands-on experience with test management tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Service-minded attitude and ability to thrive in challenging, fast-paced environments.
Full professional proficiency in English; Swedish is an advantage.
