Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java/Kotlin Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Build and maintain a scalable microservice landscape using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop cloud-ready microservices, APIs, and system integrations for a modern digital ecosystem.
- Optimize integrations, data flows, and service performance across distributed systems.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with secure, automated, and reliable delivery practices.
- Apply DevSecOps principles including security controls, monitoring, observability, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with domain experts and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure clear, maintainable technical documentation.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities while delivering high-quality solutions.
What you bring:
- Experience with Java or Kotlin and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures, distributed systems, event-driven patterns, and API design.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Ability to evaluate and implement logging, monitoring, and observability tooling.
- Experience working with or integrating low-code platforms is a plus.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a collaborative and proactive mindset, contributing beyond core responsibilities when needed
