Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance biometric matching algorithms for secure identity and authentication solutions
Analyzing and evaluating algorithm performance using synthetic and real-world datasets
Performing benchmarking, robustness testing, and quality evaluations to meet high requirements on accuracy, performance, and reliability
Applying image analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to enhance biometric algorithms
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into mobile, embedded, and cloud-based platforms
Ensuring solutions align with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

What you bring:

Strong programming skills in C and Python
Solid experience in image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning / deep learning
Hands-on experience with tools and frameworks such as OpenCV and TensorFlow
Good understanding of biometric performance metrics such as FAR, FRR, and EER
Knowledge of template protection concepts and data privacy regulations, including GDPR
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex technical challenges
Experience with biometric systems, synthetic data generation, or liveness detection is considered an advantage
A self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a structured and professional approach to work
Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environment
