Job Description

Assignment Description

We are currently looking for 1–2 Senior Developers with strong experience in JCL and COBOL to join an established mainframe development environment.

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and JCL
  • Support and enhance existing mainframe systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical and production-related issues
  • Participate in system improvements and modernization activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders within the organization
  • Ensure stable and reliable delivery within business-critical environments
  • Contribute to maintenance, testing, and documentation activities

What You Bring

  • Strong experience working with COBOL and JCL
  • Senior-level experience within mainframe development environments
  • Ability to work independently in remote delivery setups
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience working in business-critical IT environments
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders

 

Primarily remote, though occasional onsite presence in Oxelösund may be required depending on business needs.
