Assignment Description
We are looking for a Test / Support Engineer with strong focus on observability, monitoring, and incident management within an automotive software environment.
What You Will Work On
- Own and improve monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability solutions
- Drive improvements in logging, alerting, and monitoring from an end-user perspective
- Perform initial incident investigations using monitoring and system data
- Support major incident handling and coordinate issue resolution activities
- Collaborate closely with development teams to improve system reliability and stability
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor business-critical services and operational environments
- Use observability tools to support troubleshooting and operational decision-making
- Participate in scheduled 24/7 on-call support rotations
- Support operational excellence and proactive incident prevention activities
What You Bring
- Experience working with monitoring or observability for software services
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
- Strong interest in IT systems, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Ability to use dashboards and monitoring tools during incident investigations
- Experience supporting business-critical systems or operational environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders
- Availability to participate in scheduled 24/7 on-call support rotations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, especially during incidents and escalations
