Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Participate in system development activities from a software testing perspective
- Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test solutions
- Create and maintain test environments, simulators, and integrated system setups
- Perform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and issue reproduction
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including test specifications and reports
- Support requirements management and test case design activities
- Perform testing within product development projects related to chromatography and filtration systems
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support validation and verification activities across complex system environments
What You Bring
- University degree within Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar software testing role
- Documented experience with software testing in complex systems
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Strong experience with test case design and requirements management
- Experience working with simulators and integrated test environments
- Good understanding of network architecture and communication protocols
- Experience working within agile development environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git including version management and branching strategies
- Experience working with ALM tools for requirements, test case, and defect management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent Swedish and English communication skills, spoken and written
- Ability to work onsite in Uppsala up to 5 days per week
