Assignment Description
We are seeking a Senior Process Business Architect
What You Will Work On
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Software Update Management System (SUMS) process landscape
- Define and manage process architecture across the complete vehicle lifecycle
- Translate regulatory and industry standards into practical business processes and working methods
- Ensure compliance with UNECE R156, ISO 24089, and related software update regulations
- Define process interfaces, governance structures, roles, responsibilities, and KPIs
- Establish evidence requirements and compliance monitoring mechanisms
- Align group-level governance frameworks with local and project-specific implementations
- Support engineering and project teams in implementing SUMS processes effectively
- Define process and tool requirements supporting software update management
- Participate in audits, assessments, milestone reviews, and compliance activities
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze risks, findings, deviations, and lessons learned to enhance process maturity
- Drive process standardization and governance improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, compliance, cybersecurity, and management functions
- Support regulatory readiness and future certification requirements
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in Business Process Architecture, Process Governance, or Compliance Management
- Strong knowledge of automotive software update regulations and standards including:
- UNECE R156
- ISO 24089
- GB/T 44496
- Experience with Software Update Management Systems (SUMS)
- Experience with Cyber Security Management Systems (CSMS)
- Knowledge of type approval, homologation, and regulatory compliance processes
- Understanding of:
- Embedded software releases
- ECU software management
- OTA (Over-the-Air) updates
- Diagnostic services
- Workshop software update processes
- Experience supporting audits, assessments, and evidence-based compliance programs
- Experience with quality management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Understanding of:
- RXSWIN
- Integrity validation data
- Software update plans
- Software update operation information
- Software update traceability
- Experience with:
- Product data management
- Configuration management
- PDM systems
- ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
- Variant management
- Product instance specifications
- Experience within automotive OEMs, suppliers, or highly regulated technical industries
- University degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Fluent English communication skills
