Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Specialist
What You Will Work On
- Support infrastructure delivery for engineering applications and services
- Participate in infrastructure design discussions with Solution Architects and stakeholders
- Define and implement suitable infrastructure environments including on-premises, cloud, and external data center solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, middleware, and application platforms
- Support deployment and operation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
- Manage application lifecycle activities from planning through operation and maintenance
- Configure and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
- Support database environments including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Coordinate security configurations, certificates, and secure data communication solutions
- Define and manage network zones and infrastructure connectivity requirements
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related issues
- Monitor system performance, availability, and operational stability
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with business users, suppliers, architects, and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within IT operations and infrastructure services
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience including infrastructure, application support, and operations
- Strong experience with application operations and IT infrastructure delivery
- Experience supporting both implementation and runtime operations of enterprise applications
- Broad IT background covering hardware, software, servers, networking, and security
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of certificate management and secure communications
- Experience with network setup and infrastructure configuration
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience managing IT solutions from planning through production support
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
- Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
