Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data & Platform Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Own and continuously improve the platform’s data model
- Design and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines, including validation, transformation, retry handling, and auditability
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines supporting trusted business metrics
- Develop and manage integrations with external systems including DMS, ERP, Snowflake, CSV, FTP, and APIs
- Improve data quality, governance, traceability, and observability across platform domains
- Contribute to backend services and cloud infrastructure using AWS technologies
- Support database optimization, monitoring, job scheduling, and platform scalability
- Collaborate closely with the Product Lead and Lead Developer on architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap priorities
- Support engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and development standards
- Act as the technical expert for data architecture, integrations, and platform discussions
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the overall engineering platform
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, Backend Engineer, or similar technical role
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Senior experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or platform engineering
- Strong experience with SQL, relational database design, and data modeling
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Strong experience working with APIs and cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience with backend development and distributed systems
- Good understanding of platform architecture and system integrations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
