Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Managing ongoing supplier contracts and ensuring high service levels.
- Purchasing production materials within the Machining and Fabrication commodity.
- Handling changes in demand and updating delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Overseeing supplier performance, including managing supplier relationships.
- Participating in production planning to ensure material availability.
- Monitoring deliveries to meet production schedules.
- Managing site procurement change control, export control, and ITAR compliance.
- Ensuring supplier adherence to contractual responsibilities.
- Supporting the development and implementation of strategies in alignment with global Commodity Management.
- Collaborating with colleagues across other GKN Aerospace sites to implement strategies locally.
- Contributing to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as purchase order arrears, inventory management, product price variance, and on-time delivery.

- 1-3 years of experience in a commercial or procurement role.
