Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Operational Technology Developer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Lead the digital transformation efforts by developing and maintaining advanced applications using DevOps best practices.
- Implement and explore new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement across customer sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and stability of OT applications.
- Monitor the performance of OT applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Ensure data privacy and security by safeguarding sensitive information within applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance applications and maintain a competitive edge.
- Travel nationally and regionally, with occasional global travel, to support customers and deliver results.
What You Bring:
- A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of experience in DevOps, software development, IT architecture, or machine tool systems.
- Solid understanding of machine tool controllers, automation, and production processes in related industries.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Git, Linux, coding, scripting, containers, and databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; understanding of Swedish is advantageous.
- Swedish citizenship is required.
- Ability to work on-site at the customer’s location in Trollhättan.
