Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and implement automated tests that align with the defined Test Strategy.
- Convert existing manual test scripts and cases into robust, executable automated tests.
- Continuously improve and optimize the test automation framework.
- Plan and execute automation tests on an ongoing basis to maintain quality standards.
- Proactively identify potential enhancements and process improvements in the automation pipeline.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years in test automation.
- Expertise in API testing and hands-on experience in automating tests using various tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of testing automation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Java programming and a solid grasp of Object-Oriented design principles.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber BDD and Selenium/Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or Amazon AWS.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for taking on new challenges and finding innovative solutions.
Desired skills & experience:
- Hands-on experience with the Cypress Test Automation Framework.
- Knowledge of the Appium test automation framework for testing mobile applications using the Selenium WebDriver protocol.
- Experience with BrowserStack for cross-browser testing.
- Practical experience with Unix/Linux systems.
- Prior experience working in globally distributed teams.
- Participation and contribution to PI and Sprint planning.
