Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior CAE Engineer Safety ESS/Batteries to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Build CAE models for battery packs and modules, focusing on crash simulation and result analysis.
Play a key role in the development and refinement of evaluation methods and modeling techniques for batteries.
Initiate and oversee physical testing, analyze test results, and validate simulation methods.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and detailed reports on methods and analyses.
Collaborate with a global team to advance safety solutions for energy storage systems in both passenger and commercial vehicles.

What you bring:

A Master of Science degree in engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Over 3 years of experience in FE crash simulation within the automotive industry.
Proficiency in using FE software, particularly LS-Dyna.
Strong knowledge of pre- and post-processing tools like Ansa and Meta.
Programming skills, particularly in Python, are a plus.
Experience in crash simulation method development and early-phase concept work is highly valued.
Practical experience with lithium-ion battery crash simulations in an industrial setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of developing crash requirements is a plus.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
