Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define and translate customer specifications and protection schemes into conceptual designs and sub-supplier requirements.
- Evaluate sub-supplier quotes to ensure alignment with project specifications and long-term design objectives.
- Oversee the design and manufacturing processes, leading the dialogue with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Review and validate detailed protection panel designs, ensuring alignment with functional requirements, component interfaces, and intercommunication links.
- Verify the compatibility of functional requirements, panel designs, relay configurations, and settings before Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Review supplier test programs, supervise FAT, and provide technical oversight.
- Provide remote support during installation and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as needed.
- Ensure compliance with grid codes and evaluate the correctness of protection coordination and setting calculations.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience in protection and control systems for medium- and high-voltage AC substations.
- Deep understanding of relay protection schemes, including protection, control, measurement, and supervision functionalities.
- Knowledge of various protective relay brands and their applications.
- Expertise in protection and control panel design, including business requirements and industry best practices.
- Experience in power systems studies and familiarity with grid codes.
- Strong understanding of protection system configurations and testing requirements.
- Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and manage sub-supplier engagements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in design and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
