Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Oversee civil and structural design work for an ongoing project, ensuring efficient coordination between engineering partners to achieve cost-effective and timely solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for civil and structural discipline, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project requirements and client expectations.
• Lead and guide the development of engineering and design strategies, concepts, and solutions.
• Manage engineering work to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and equipment specifications.
• Drive quality achievement and performance improvements across the engineering discipline.
• Supervise the work of EPCm engineering partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of civil and structural designs.
• Develop and implement engineering and design standards and procedures to maintain consistent quality throughout the project.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in managing major industrial capital projects with a focus on civil and structural design.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial-scale steel and concrete structures.
• Proven expertise in Scandinavian building codes and standards.
• Strong background in project planning, execution, and management, including effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Significant experience working with EPCm civil construction engineers.
• Thorough understanding of industry best practices and change management processes.
• Recent experience managing engineering and construction activities in large capital projects.
• Experience in managing engineering partners and coordinating their work effectively.
• Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal/communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in complex, multi-team environments.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments where processes and procedures are not always clearly defined.
• Proficiency in English (only language requirement for this assignment).
