Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Business Central Integration Consultant (SaaS/Cloud) to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations within Business Central SaaS/Cloud.
- Consume and expose REST APIs, managing authentication with OAuth2 and API keys.
- Implement AL development solutions and leverage previous C/AL experience where applicable.
- Work with standard and custom Business Central APIs to deliver seamless integration solutions.
- Handle e-commerce and order flows, including order import, deliveries, invoices, credits, price lists, inventory, product, and customer data management.
- Map and transform data across systems, ideally using configurable solutions.
- Develop and manage webhook and synchronization logic, including polling vs. webhook strategies, event-driven architectures, and data versioning (timestamp/version-id).
- Document APIs clearly using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to both customers and development teams.
What you bring:
- Strong experience with Business Central SaaS and its API capabilities.
- Proficiency in AL development, with prior experience in C/AL considered an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, and API key-based integrations.
- Understanding of e-commerce workflows and related data processes.
- Knowledge of data mapping, field mapping, and configurable integration solutions.
- Experience with webhook-based and event-driven integration architectures.
- Familiarity with API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical solutions to stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
