Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Cable Routing Designer
What You Will Work On
- Design and verify media routing, cable harness routing, and air pipe routing for vehicle cab systems
- Optimize cable lengths to minimize variants, reduce waste, and prevent wear or cable failures
- Participate in technical design reviews and propose engineering improvements
- Update and review engineering drawings and documentation
- Prepare and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Create Manufacturing Requests (MR) and coordinate part ordering
- Perform measurements and verify routing against technical specifications
- Support prototype builds, test assembly, production, and industrialization activities
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness
- Drive change requests and continuous improvements
- Represent cable harness interests and collaborate with system owners to achieve optimal technical solutions
- Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Agile ceremonies
What You Bring
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with cable routing or electrical installation engineering
- Experience delivering large implementation or rollout projects
- Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments
- Experience handling Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent English (Swedish is an advantage)
