Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Cable Harness Routing Designer

What You Will Work On

Design and develop cable harness routing using 3D CAD tools
Create and maintain 3D routing models and engineering documentation
Optimize harness routing for packaging, manufacturability, serviceability, robustness, quality, and cost
Collaborate with Electrical Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers
Participate in concept development, design reviews, and technical decision-making
Perform tolerance analysis and installation feasibility studies
Support prototype builds, verification, validation, and issue resolution
Manage engineering changes and maintain accurate product documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods, standards, and engineering best practices
Support industrialization and production-related engineering activities

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
Experience with cable harness routing or mechanical installation design
Experience using 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA V5 or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE)
Experience working in cross-functional product development teams
Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DfM)
Understanding of Design for Assembly (DfA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Fluent English (Swedish is an advantage)
