Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automotive – Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design internal components for Power Take-Off (PTO) systems on gearboxes for both internal combustion engine (ICE) drivetrains and electrified vehicle platforms
Contribute to concept development, detailed design, and validation activities within multi-company development projects
Perform 3D and 2D design work using Catia V5 and manage product data in Enovia
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including test engineers, designers, project managers, and Scrum Masters
Ensure component functionality, quality, and manufacturability according to customer standards and product development processes
Prepare technical documentation and support reviews throughout the development lifecycle
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support problem-solving activities within the team

What you bring:

Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
Strong experience in Catia V5 for mechanical design
Hands-on experience with Enovia and PDM/PLM systems
Proven background in product development within the automotive or drivetrain sector
Knowledge of gearbox or powertrain components is an advantage
Familiarity with structured product development processes, preferably from the customer’s PD environment
Strong drive, initiative, and ability to take ownership of tasks
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work on-site approximately 80% in Södertälje
Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not mandatory
