Job Description
Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior HIL Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define, set up, and configure HIL test environments to support ongoing and future vehicle projects.
- Develop and deploy software applications on core computer platforms, enhancing vehicle simulation capabilities.
- Engage in modeling work using Matlab and Simulink, driving the integration of these models into HIL setups.
- Enable test automation to facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and various groups to ensure the seamless development of innovative vehicle technologies.
- Grow your expertise in key areas such as Vehicle Motion Control, Protective Safety, and Autonomous Driving, while gaining a comprehensive understanding of next-generation software platform.
What you bring:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with dSPACE Hardware In The Loop (HIL) rigs.
- At least 2 years of experience using dSPACE development tools, including ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, ModelDesk, Bus Manager, and Aurelion.
- Proven experience in Matlab/Simulink development.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Additional qualifications that are advantageous:
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet.
- Programming skills in Matlab and Python.
- Experience with vehicle/traffic simulation and model development in Simulink.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of sensor technologies, including radar, camera, lidar, and ultrasonic, and their integration into vehicle systems.
- Experience in vehicle software development, particularly in areas such as Vehicle Dynamics, Hybrid/Electric Vehicles, Active Safety, Connected Vehicles, Autonomous Drive, Vehicle Motion Control, and Protective Safety Systems.
