Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior HW Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Analyze product requirements, break them down, and specify them to ensure high quality and safety standards.
- Capture requirements in specifications while allowing optimization flexibility for hardware suppliers.
- Develop new hardware modules in collaboration with partners (ODMs), including technical requirements, hardware design, design reviews (FMEA, DFT, EMC, etc.), testing, verification, validation, and documentation.
- Lead or contribute to hardware system integration, EMC, electrical safety and type testing, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Maintain existing hardware modules, including cost reduction, end-of-life management, and production support.
- Lead or contribute to hardware development projects within an international matrix organization, working with hardware, firmware, software, test, supply chain, EMS, quality, and production teams.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
What You Bring:
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in hardware development, preferably within agile and lean methodologies.
- Expertise in at least one hardware-specific discipline such as analog design, EMC, or electrical safety.
- Hands-on experience with electronics measurement, EMC, testing, and debugging.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with external partners, project leaders, departments, and suppliers.
- Experience managing suppliers is an advantage.
- A proactive problem solver who thrives on tackling new challenges.
- A team player with a holistic approach, high integrity, and the ability to manage evolving project targets.
- Proficiency in English, as the role operates in a global environment.
- Mid-level seniority with a background in hardware development and project management.
