Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer – Plastic Development to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Contribute to the conceptualization phase of cab development, focusing on structural parts of the instrument panel
Develop innovative design solutions that balance technical feasibility with cross-functional requirements
Work within agile in-house delivery team in close partnership with the customer
Ensure seamless integration by collaborating with stakeholders across design, engineering, and suppliers
Support overall installation responsibilities owned by the team
Participate in regular interactions at offices in Stockholm/Södertälje, with flexibility to visit the customer site as needed
Option to work remotely if you bring the right level of experience and independence

What you bring:

An engineering degree combined with strong drive, creativity, and a solution-oriented mindset
Minimum 10 years of experience in plastic design, preferably with cab development expertise
Proven ability to manage complex projects and interface effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong technical competence and independence in using the CATIA design tool
Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and partners
Availability to start as soon as possible, with readiness to contribute immediately in a high-paced environment
