Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior SAP Software Asset Management Specialist to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Support Software Asset Management (SAM) for SAP during internal staff absence or periods of high workload.
• Manage license consumption metering processes for all SAP products in scope, including license-, software-, and consumption-based models.
• Conduct regular internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to SAP licensing terms and identify potential compliance gaps or risks.
• Analyze license usage data to identify optimization opportunities, including underutilized licenses and reassignment possibilities.
• Maintain a centralized repository of SAP license contracts, agreements, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate, updated, and accessible.
• Engage with SAP vendors when needed regarding licensing, compliance, and contractual matters.
• Support software procurement activities in alignment with Volvo Group policies and processes.
• Contribute to the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of the budget for SAP software products and licenses.
• Support external SAP audits and ensure timely, accurate data preparation and responses.
• Advise project, program, infrastructure, and application portfolio managers on SAP licensing models, compliance requirements, and optimization strategies.
• Produce internal reporting on SAP license portfolio status and compliance metrics.
• Ensure an end-to-end service mindset in all Software Asset Management activities.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management with proven expertise in SAP license management, administration, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of SAP licensing principles, contractual frameworks, and commercial terms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP audit processes and effective audit response.
• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro is an advantage.
• Strong ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment with effective collaboration across teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort working with multi-source data sets.
• Technical background is an asset.
