Senior Software Engineer - Maps Developer Platform (Native)- 10275

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Maps Developer Platform (Native) to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Design, develop, and enhance MapKit APIs for native platforms, including iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. This includes writing custom code tailored to each platform and its UI frameworks.
Elicit and translate client requirements into scalable and reliable code, creating APIs that enable both internal and external developers to integrate mapping features into their applications.
Collaborate with Human Interaction Design, Services, and other Engineering and Data teams to ensure seamless integration of Maps within the ecosystem.
Lead the ideation, design, implementation, and launch of new features, contributing to announcements at the client’s Developer Conference.
Develop and maintain test tools and test cases, working closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

What You Bring:

6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on software design and architecture.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, particularly Swift and/or Objective-C.
Experience in designing and building public APIs.
Knowledge of Computer Graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Metal, and WebGL.
Ability to explain complex problems clearly and succinctly.
Passion for working collaboratively and iterating on ideas within a cross-functional team.
Skills in contributing to or authoring developer documentation.
