Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Product Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Translate market-adapted and technical requirements into efficient and viable solution combinations within the product model.
• Maintain, validate, and enhance the product configuration model to ensure accuracy, consistency, and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align configuration logic, product costs, and quotation content.
• Contribute to product development projects as a key representative for product modularization and configuration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance model quality, efficiency, and usability.
• Support internal stakeholders by ensuring that configuration tools and models meet evolving business and technical needs.

What you bring:

• Proven experience as an engineer with a strong understanding of how technical and commercial requirements interact in a product data model.
• Ability to structure, analyze, and translate complex technical data into configurable product solutions.
• Experience in product configuration, project management, or technical sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach to work.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively across teams.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; experience as a technical editor is an advantage.
• A proactive mindset with the motivation to drive projects from concept to completion and continuously improve processes.
