Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator
What You Will Work On
- Administer, operate, and maintain Linux-based systems and services
- Support development and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Manage security-hardened environments with strict availability and security requirements
- Implement and maintain SELinux configurations and policies
- Administer virtualization platforms and infrastructure
- Manage security logging, monitoring, and incident investigation activities
- Support backup and recovery processes
- Configure and maintain system monitoring and operational tools
- Analyze network traffic, protocols, and security-related events
- Implement and maintain automated configuration management solutions
- Support authentication and identity management services
- Contribute to IT architecture, technical documentation, testing, and support activities
- Participate in the implementation and operation of security solutions
- Ensure compliance with security requirements and regulatory frameworks
What You Bring
- Minimum two years of recent professional experience in Linux system administration within security-sensitive environments
- Strong experience administering Linux-based systems with high security requirements
- Hands-on experience with SELinux
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as:
- Experience with:
- Security logging
- Backup management
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Network traffic analysis
- Network protocols
- Experience with automated configuration management tools such as:
- Experience with authentication and identity management solutions including:
- PKI
- Federation Services
- FreeIPA
- Experience working in environments handling classified or protected information
- Experience supporting operations, maintenance, or implementation of IT security solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent documentation capabilities
