Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
What You Will Work On
- Develop and strengthen supplier quality performance and supplier relationships
- Plan, conduct, and document supplier quality audits
- Evaluate supplier compliance with quality requirements and standards
- Coordinate the handling, documentation, and communication of sample inspection results
- Review and communicate supplier quality reports with relevant stakeholders
- Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier non-conformities
- Manage supplier deviation and non-conformance cases from investigation through closure
- Support supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update quality procedures and governing documents
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding quality performance
- Build long-term supplier partnerships focused on continuous improvement
- Support quality assurance activities throughout the supply chain
- Contribute to improving supplier processes, product quality, and operational excellence
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, Supplier Development Engineer, or similar role
- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Engineering or equivalent experience within manufacturing industries
- Experience working within supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or supply chain quality
- Experience planning and conducting supplier audits
- Strong experience with supplier development and supplier performance management
- Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Experience managing quality deviations and non-conformance investigations
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Highly structured, proactive, flexible, and results-oriented
- Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken, including technical English
