Job Overview
Role Summary
An experienced Business Architect is required for a consulting assignment in the financial sector, focused on investigative work related to data management and customer information. The role works closely with investigation leads and serves as the link between business stakeholders and IT teams. The consultant will capture, structure and translate business needs into concrete IT solutions, contributing to investigations concerning data management, customer engagement and more consistent management of central customer information.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with investigation leads, business stakeholders and IT teams throughout the assignment.
- Capture, analyse, structure and document business requirements in a clear and actionable format.
- Translate business needs into concrete solution requirements for IT initiatives.
- Model business processes and map information flows related to data and customer information.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities in processes, information management and supporting solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and drive assigned workstreams forward.
- Provide a holistic business perspective to ensure proposed solutions are designed around business needs.
- Support alignment and shared understanding among stakeholders with different perspectives.
Technical Stack & Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a Business Architect, with a focus on data. Experience working at the interface between business and IT is required. The consultant should be comfortable facilitating workshops, advancing workstreams, analysing complex needs, identifying deficiencies and improvement opportunities, and creating alignment among a broad range of stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in process modelling, information-flow mapping and structured business requirements documentation is required.
