Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced CE Lead

What You Will Work On

• Lead the overall project CE compliance program
• Establish governance, implementation plans, responsibilities and escalation paths
• Define and maintain compliance boundaries for:Products
• Machinery
• Pressure equipment
• Systems
• Package solutions

Define intended use, manufacturer roles and conformity assessment strategy

Coordinate applicable EU product legislation, Swedish requirements and standards

Lead assessments of significant changes to plant components and interfaces

Integrate CE requirements into engineering, procurement and supplier requirements

Integrate CE requirements into project schedules, inspection/testing, commissioning and handover

Manage CE-related actions, decisions, deviations and escalations

Track owners, deadlines, risks and verification of completed actions

Monitor CE deliverables and documentation for the Technical File

Verify document scope, identity, revision status, approvals, applicability and traceability

Lead and facilitate lifecycle and CE readiness reviews

Report CE readiness, critical blockers, delayed deliveries and recovery actions

Coordinate preparation of Declarations of Conformity

Support CE marking readiness and communication of remaining risks

Ensure proper documentation archiving and handover

Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement

Prevent release of products, systems or plant components with incomplete compliance documentation

What You Bring

• Strong experience in CE compliance / CE marking
• Experience leading CE compliance activities in large projects
• Good knowledge of EU product legislation and conformity assessment
• Experience with technical documentation and Technical Files
• Experience coordinating multiple engineering and project disciplines
• Understanding of machinery safety and product compliance
• Experience with supplier compliance and conformity documentation
• Strong knowledge of CE marking processes and declarations of conformity
• Ability to manage compliance actions, risks, deadlines and escalations
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Structured and highly organized approach
• Ability to lead without replacing technical or legal decision-making responsibilities
• Experience working with engineering, quality, HSE, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
