Job Overview
Role Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Architect to support and advance the Data Analytics domain. The assignment focuses on establishing and maturing architecture, information models, data models, integration patterns, and governance processes that address business requirements and long-term strategic objectives.
The architect will define target architectures, document future-state solutions, and ensure alignment between data, integrations, systems, and business needs. The role combines architectural leadership, hands-on solution design, strategic advisory work, and internal capability development. Close collaboration is expected with managers, project leads, product owners, and domain stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop architecture and integration patterns within the Data Analytics domain.
- Design and maintain information models, data models, and integration architectures.
- Translate business requirements into sustainable architectural solutions and target-state designs.
- Define governance processes, architectural principles, standards, and decision-making structures.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation covering target states, integration flows, future-state solutions, and system landscapes.
- Provide strategic and technical architectural guidance to senior stakeholders, project teams, product owners, and domain representatives.
- Support architectural governance and ensure that proposed solutions align with established standards and principles.
- Work across strategic and operational levels to clarify complex dependencies, priorities, and architectural decisions.
- Strengthen internal architecture capabilities through structured mentoring, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
- Help designated team members develop the expertise and confidence required to work with greater independence.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Data Architecture: Extensive experience defining architectures for Data Analytics environments.
- Information and Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of information modeling and data modeling, including practical experience designing and maintaining relevant models.
- Integration Architecture: Strong understanding of integration architecture, integration design, reusable integration patterns, and integration flows.
- Target Architecture: Experience defining and documenting target states, future-state solutions, and system landscape architectures.
- Architecture Governance: Experience establishing or supporting governance structures, architectural standards, processes, and principles.
- Enterprise Architecture: Experience in large-scale or enterprise-scale architecture environments is advantageous.
- AI Agents: Familiarity with AI agents and agentic systems is considered an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
A relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience is required. The successful consultant will have extensive experience working as a senior IT architect, including direct experience in Data Analytics architecture and the design of information models, data models, and integration architectures. The role requires a demonstrated ability to document complex architectures, target states, integration flows, and system landscapes clearly and systematically.
Experience providing architectural advisory services to senior stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex architectural concepts in a structured and accessible manner. The consultant must be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing internal team members is also required. Exposure to large-scale Data Analytics environments, enterprise architecture, AI agents, or agentic systems is advantageous.
