Assignment Description

We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to support the development and scaling of analytics solutions combining product, installed-base and commercial data within the automotive industry.

The role focuses on translating business needs into data requirements, data mapping, data quality, master data, data governance and collaboration between Business, Product Management, MDM and Analytics/BI teams.

What You Will Work On

• Translate business rules and use cases into data requirements
• Map data attributes and data sources
• Assess data availability, quality, completeness and reliability
• Identify data gaps and coordinate correction and enrichment activities
• Work with Business, Product Management, MDM and Analytics/BI teams
• Validate data before BI implementation
• Support data governance, ownership and data definitions
• Define and maintain data quality rules and standards
• Document requirements, data mappings and gap assessments
• Prioritize data improvement actions
• Support analytics and BI initiatives

What You Bring

• Several years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst or similar
• Strong experience translating business needs into data requirements
• Hands-on experience with data profiling and analysis
• Experience with SQL and Excel/Power Query
• Experience with master data, product data and data quality
• Experience working with PIM/MDM environments
• Good understanding of data governance, ownership, definitions and stewardship
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Fluent English

Meritorious

• Experience with STEP / Stibo Systems
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience from Aftermarket or Parts & Accessories
• Experience with product compatibility, installed base or spare parts data
• Experience working with BI / Power BI teams
• Experience with analytics or recommendation models
• Availability at short notice
