Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Harness & Hardware Design Engineer to support the development of electrical systems in an automotive engineering environment.

You will work with electrical schematic design, 3D design, wiring harnesses, and related hardware. You will collaborate with mechanical design, production, purchasing, and other technical teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable electrical solutions that meet product requirements.

Work arrangement: 100% on-site in Södertälje, Sweden.

What You Will Work On

• Design electrical systems using schematic and 3D design tools.
• Develop and integrate electrical harnesses and related hardware.
• Support electrical system development in an automotive environment.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, production, and purchasing teams.
• Ensure electrical designs meet technical and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while supporting project needs.

What You Bring

• B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in a similar automotive engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5.
• Experience with Saber ESD.
• Experience with OAS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt to changing priorities.

Meritorious

• Experience with Siemens Capital.
• Knowledge of FRAS.
• Leadership potential and experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams.
