Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical System Engineer to support customer-specific electrical design and documentation for medium gas turbine projects in Finspång.

The role focuses on low voltage electrical systems, including starter motors, frequency converters, UPS systems, batteries and switchgear. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from electrical design and documentation to workshop and assembly support.

The role involves close collaboration with assembly, site teams, suppliers, purchasing and project teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, customer requirements and timely delivery.

On-site: 3 days/week.

What You Will Work On

• Design and document low voltage electrical systems for gas turbine projects
• Work with frequency converters, starter motors, batteries, UPS systems and switchgear
• Develop customer-specific electrical solutions and documentation
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality and cost targets
• Support assembly and site activities throughout project execution
• Attend workshops and provide technical support during assembly
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, purchasing and project teams
• Support configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes

What You Bring

• Relevant education within Electrical Engineering
• Several years of experience in electrical engineering and design
• Experience with electrical systems and low voltage equipment
• Ability to create and maintain electrical documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working in customer projects or power-generation environments
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken
• Safety, quality and customer-focused mindset
