Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Architect to support the transformation of a global manufacturing organization's production and shopfloor IT landscape.

The role focuses on translating business needs into sustainable processes, information flows, architectural direction and IT solutions. You will bridge business and IT while supporting future capabilities within production execution and manufacturing operations.

You will work across multiple initiatives and collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Process Owners, business representatives and other stakeholders.

What You Will Work On

• Own and develop business architecture within manufacturing and production execution
• Translate business needs into processes, information flows and IT solutions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business transformation
• Align business objectives with IT initiatives and target architecture
• Connect current operational needs with future-state capabilities
• Lead analyses, pre-studies, discovery activities and gap analyses
• Create visualizations and decision-support materials
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Support decision-making across business and IT
• Contribute to portfolio planning and continuous improvement
• Drive alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Support strategic digital transformation initiatives

What You Bring

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience
• Solid experience working at the intersection of business and IT
• Strong understanding of business processes, information flows and value streams
• Experience translating business requirements into architectural direction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to visualize and communicate complex concepts
• Good understanding of IT environments and terminology
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong experience working with multiple stakeholder groups
• Fluent in Swedish and English
