Job Overview
Role Summary
We are seeking an Epic Owner for a consulting assignment focused on driving technical transformation within hybrid infrastructure and platform technologies. The role is responsible for advancing key technical enablers required to support the continued development of the organisation's technology platforms.
The assignment includes further development of an on-premises Kubernetes platform, improving the delivery of both on-premises platform services and SaaS services, and strengthening capabilities for managing digital secrets such as cryptographic keys and certificates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic epics and technical initiatives within hybrid infrastructure and platform technology.
- Drive the continued development of an on-premises Kubernetes platform.
- Improve and streamline delivery processes for on-premises platform services and SaaS services.
- Establish and enhance capabilities for digital secret management, including keys and certificates.
- Support the implementation and use of Hardware Security Modules and Key Management Systems.
- Develop processes and automation supporting the delivery of platform services.
- Plan, monitor, govern and follow up on epics and projects in a large organisational environment.
- Analyse requirements, dependencies and risks, ensuring that technical initiatives are appropriately prioritised and coordinated.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to create alignment, engagement and progress across technical initiatives.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes, including on-premises platform environments.
- Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure and platform architecture.
- Experience improving Linux-based delivery processes through standardisation and automation.
- Experience with digital secrets management, including cryptographic keys and certificates.
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Key Management Systems (KMS).
- Experience implementing technical infrastructure solutions and working with infrastructure architecture.
- Experience leading epics and/or projects, preferably in large organisations.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience implementing technical infrastructure solutions and possesses a strong understanding of architecture within hybrid and platform-based environments. Experience leading technical epics or projects in complex, large-scale organisations is required. The candidate should be able to structure and govern work across requirements, dependencies and risks while facilitating collaboration among multiple stakeholders.
