ERP Procurement Consultant - 20181

Role Summary

An experienced ERP Procurement Consultant is needed for a consulting assignment starting as soon as possible, with an estimated duration of approximately three months. The assignment focuses on supporting the procurement of an ERP solution, including supplier negotiations and selection of both the ERP platform and implementation partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support procurement activities involving major ERP vendors.
• Conduct contract negotiations with prospective ERP suppliers.
• Support the evaluation and selection of an ERP platform.
• Support the selection of an ERP implementation partner.
• Manage a procurement process in which the requirements scope is not yet fully defined.
• Contribute to an RFP-based procurement approach rather than a conventional RFQ-based process.
• Support a project setup beginning with a discovery or Proof of Concept phase.

Technical Stack & Requirements

• ERP procurement and vendor evaluation experience.
• Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
• Experience with contract negotiation in complex technology procurements.
• Understanding of discovery and Proof of Concept (PoC) phases for ERP initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

The consultant should be experienced in ERP-related procurement, including negotiations with larger ERP suppliers and advisory support for platform and implementation-partner selection. Experience working in early-stage procurement initiatives with evolving or incomplete requirements is important.
