Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong GCP and data engineering expertise to build and maintain data flows and pipelines for large-scale data environments.

The role focuses on GCP, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Python, Jinja SQL/DBT and Kimball data modeling, with strong emphasis on data quality, security, documentation and collaboration with business and technical teams.

What You Will Work On

• Build and maintain data flows for large data volumes
• Develop advanced data models and transformations for analytics and reporting
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and availability
• Work with GCP, BigQuery and Cloud Functions
• Develop solutions using Python
• Work with Jinja SQL / DBT
• Apply Kimball data modeling
• Ensure data quality and security
• Make data accessible and useful for analysts and decision-makers
• Drive best practices in code structure, data modeling and documentation
• Work closely with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams, source system owners and data/information architects
• Work with GitHub CI/CD

What You Bring

• 6+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience
• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining data flows for large datasets
• 6+ years of experience with advanced data modeling and transformation
• 6+ years of experience developing and optimizing data pipelines
• 6+ years of experience with data quality and security
• Strong experience with Jinja SQL / DBT
• Current and recent experience with GCP, BigQuery and Cloud Functions
• Strong Python experience
• Experience with Kimball modeling
• Experience with GitHub CI/CD
• Strong experience with code structure, data modeling and documentation best practices
• Strong collaboration skills with business, development teams and data architects
• Fluent Swedish, spoken and written

• Experience with advanced GCP data services
• Experience with modern data platform engineering practices
