Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, evaluate and optimise image performance across the full camera-system image chain.
- Develop and test algorithms and technical tools used to assess image quality and system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, optical, electronics, hardware and software teams to develop and integrate technical solutions.
- Support the integration of image-performance solutions into embedded systems.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production-related technical needs and improve product performance.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve complex system-level issues affecting camera and image performance.
- Drive practical technical progress while meeting delivery milestones and deadlines.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python for analysis, algorithm development and evaluation tooling.
- Understanding of image processing fundamentals, image quality evaluation and detector-related technologies.
- Knowledge of C and/or C++ is advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge of Embedded Systems is considered beneficial.
- Technical understanding of physics, optics, electronics, hardware and software interaction within complex systems.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate has strong technical competence, practical problem-solving ability and a system-level mindset. Experience spanning both hardware and software development is important, together with an understanding of detectors, physics and image-processing principles. Experience working with complex camera or imaging systems is highly relevant. Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required.
