Professional Full-Stack Developer – Java, Spring Boot & React - 20501

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Professional Full-Stack Developer to join a Connected Services development team in Gothenburg.

You will develop customer-facing features for portal solutions and take end-to-end ownership of functionality throughout the software lifecycle — from requirements and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, production operations and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers and Software Engineers to build secure, scalable, reliable and maintainable solutions.

What You Will Work On

• Design and develop frontend and backend functionality.
• Build full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Own features from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Build and maintain automated, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Work with microservices and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Deploy, monitor, operate and troubleshoot production services.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Improve system reliability, performance and technical quality.
• Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and Agile teams.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack applications in production.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Git, CI/CD pipelines and production operations.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, Jest or Cypress.
• Understanding of security, scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Meritorious

• Experience with event-driven architecture, JMS or WebSockets.
• Knowledge of Kafka, AWS Kinesis or similar streaming technologies.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture and reusable design principles.
• Experience with observability, performance testing or security testing.
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, MCP Servers and AI Agents.
• Experience working with Figma and UX teams.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
