Project Business Controller - 19706

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Controller to support a portfolio of product development and customer-related business projects in Södertälje.

The role acts as a strategic finance partner to project managers and management, providing financial transparency, analysis and decision support throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Will Work On

• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for a project portfolio
• Follow up project financial performance, risks and opportunities
• Analyze profitability, business cases and investment proposals
• Support project managers and leadership teams with financial analysis
• Develop reporting for budget outcomes, resource utilization and cost development
• Prepare decision material and presentations for management and steering forums
• Support project prioritization and investment decisions
• Perform ad-hoc analysis related to project and portfolio management
• Drive improvements in project controlling processes, tools and ways of working
• Work closely with technology, production, procurement, sales and finance

What You Bring

• Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or similar
• Experience in controlling, business controlling, project controlling or financial analysis
• Strong experience with:Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Financial reporting
• Business cases
• Project financial follow-up

Ability to understand financial, commercial and technical drivers

Experience supporting project managers, managers or leadership teams

Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders

Fluent English in speaking and writing

Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset

Ability to work in complex, cross-functional environments
