Project Manager

Role Summary

An experienced Project Manager is required for a full-time consulting assignment supporting a local implementation project in Stockholm. The consultant will lead one of the subprojects within the client’s local implementation programme and provide support to other project activities as needed. The assignment focuses on the implementation of a Patient Data Management System (PDMS) in clinical settings, including perioperative medicine and acute care.

The role involves coordinating analyses of clinical working methods and workflows in close collaboration with local management and relevant clinical operations. The consultant will structure project documentation and coordinate healthcare requirements and questions with local management and, where required, the regional PDMS implementation project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an assigned subproject within the local PDMS implementation programme.
• Support other project workstreams and implementation activities based on programme needs.
• Coordinate and consolidate analyses related to clinical workflows, working methods and operational processes.
• Collaborate with local management, clinical stakeholders and the regional implementation project.
• Identify, document and translate clinical and operational needs into requirements for healthcare information systems.
• Structure, maintain and coordinate project documentation.
• Coordinate questions, requirements and priorities from healthcare operations throughout the implementation.
• Lead cross-functional working groups, work meetings and workshops.
• Drive change initiatives associated with system implementation in healthcare environments.

Technical Stack & Requirements

• Documented experience implementing Patient Data Management Systems (PDMS).
• Experience leading healthcare system implementations, particularly in perioperative and acute-care environments.
• Experience with Centricity High Acuity, with a focus on perioperative medicine and intensive care, is highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience eliciting, mapping and translating clinical business needs into healthcare-system requirements.
• Proven use of project management and change management methods in complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

The consultant must have competence level 3, corresponding to approximately 4–8 years of professional experience, and at least 3 years of documented experience as a Project Manager. Demonstrated experience with PDMS implementation, healthcare IT projects, perioperative care and acute healthcare is required. The consultant must also have documented experience managing change projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops.

A relevant reference assignment of comparable scope and complexity is required. The reference must concern project management for the implementation of a patient data management system in healthcare, have run continuously for at least 12 months, and have been partially completed within the three years preceding the proposal deadline.

Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English are mandatory.

Work Logistics & Location

This is a full-time consulting assignment based in Stockholm, Sweden, running from 1 November 2026 through 31 October 2028, with an option to extend for two additional six-month periods. The work is primarily performed on site; limited remote work may be possible where agreed. Selected consultants will participate in an electronic review meeting via Microsoft Teams on 19 October 2026.
